How to Use the Move Tool in Ansys Discovery — Lesson 2

Ansys Discovery features the first simulation-driven design tool in which users can create and modify geometry using direct modeling technology, define simulations, and interact with results in real time. To successfully prepare the geometry for performing CFD analysis, it is very important to understand the use and functionality of various geometry design and modification options in Discovery. The Move tool will be the main topic of discussion in this lesson. Using the Move tool, we can modify an existing geometry in a variety of ways, including mating faces, moving bodies or assemblies, setting up parameters, and more. We will discuss these topics in this lesson through hands-on examples. We will also go over how to use the Move tool to modify existing geometry and make copies or patterns.
