How to Use the Fill Tool in Ansys Discovery — Lesson 3

Ansys Discovery features the first simulation-driven design tool in which users can create and modify geometry using direct modeling technology, define simulations, and interact with results in real time. To successfully prepare the geometry for performing CFD analysis, it is very important to understand the use and functionality of various geometry design and modification options in Ansys Discovery. In this lesson, we will focus on the Fill tool. Through a hands-on example, we will learn different ways to activate the Fill tool to simplify the existing design by removing faces like holes, text, and more. Furthermore, we will also learn to create new surfaces by making patches in order to repair the existing model.
