Types of Potential Flows - Lesson 4

In this lesson, we will build on our understanding of potential flows from the last lesson and discover how to obtain analytical solutions to some fundamental potential flow problems. Based on these fundamental flows, we will discuss two of the most famous theoretical studies in fluid dynamics: flow over a circular cylinder and flow around a rotating cylinder, the latter being responsible for the generation of a pushing force on rotating objects such as a baseball, tennis ball, etc.
