How to Define Minimum Sizes, Maximum Sizes, and Growth Rate – Lesson 1

Surface meshes are critical to not only capturing the geometrical features of the CAD as accurately as possible, but also to laying the foundation for generating high-quality volume meshes that are required for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. In this lesson, we will discuss global sizing parameters such as Minimum Size, Maximum Size, and Growth Rate, which should be appropriately set to build good-quality surface meshes. We will also discuss a few best practices on how to define these inputs.
