Time Dependent Response — Lesson 3

Previously, we have seen the governing equations of a time-domain analysis and how each term contributes to the energy of the system. But how do these energies translate to the structural response of the system?

There's a stark difference between a static and transient response and it's important to understand this difference. In this lesson, we will learn just that using a very simple example.
