How to Manage Zones — Lesson 5

After the volume mesh is generated, it is possible to perform changes in the computational model with the help of an additional task in the Ansys Fluent Meshing Watertight Geometry Workflow (i.e., the Merge Zones task). The focus of this lesson is on understanding the Manage Zones task, which can be used to perform renaming and merging operations on both the face and cell zones. We will dig into the working details of these different operations in the task and understand the user inputs required.
