Internal flows — Lesson 3

From the movement of oil and gas through pipelines across the world to the flow of air through the HVAC system of your home and offices, internal fluid flows are quite a common occurrence. Below is a video of the internal flow path the exhaust gases take from your car engine before exiting into the atmosphere.

In this lesson, we will dig into some fundamentals of internal fluid flows and subsequently analyze a few canonical internal fluid flows to get a better understanding of the physics involved.
