If you have an air conditioner in a house, how does the entire space get heated up or cooled down by this machine? The answer is convection. Convection transfers heat within fluids (liquids and gases) through a complex process that combines advection and diffusion. In this course, convection is explained with multiple real-world examples and experiments. For simulation of heat transfer, convection is considered as a boundary condition for a conduction-based solver. The important parameters controlling convection will be covered in this course.
