Signal Integrity Analysis of a Server Board — Lesson 2

This course describes how to configure a PCIe channel on a complex server motherboard in Ansys SIwave. To transfer large amounts of data within and across server systems at high speeds, many engineering challenges need to be solved. A key design consideration for PCBs is signal integrity. High-speed digital channels need to be optimized for server boards to transfer signals with low latency. A signal integrity simulation of a server system gives significant insights into the channel’s performance.
