Objectivity of Hyperelastic Strain Energy Density Functions - Lesson 3

This lesson discusses the objectivity of hyperelastic strain energy function. When there is a deformation, the energy is stored in the body in the form of strain energy. Rigid motion is superimposed on this deformation. It is seen what happens to this strain energy when the body moves from one position to other. It is seen that strain energy density depends upon stretch tensor. All the forms of strain energy shown to satisfy the frame invariance.
