In order to select a material for a specific product, we need to compare material properties with one another. But we have thousands of engineering materials to choose from — where do we begin?
We could compare tables of numbers, but that could be challenging or frustrating. In this lesson, we will look at a more visual approach to comparing material properties with one another.
Please use the provided handout on the course homepage to follow along with the lesson. References and relevant links can be found in the Relevant Links lesson tab. Unfamiliar with material properties? Consider checking out our Ansys Innovation Course on Material Elasticity here.
