Harmonic response analysis is used to simulate how a structure will respond to sinusoidally repeating dynamic loading. This type of loading occurs in many structures you may encounter daily, such as an electric toothbrush or a fan inside a laptop. This course will introduce the concepts and explain a special technique to solve such harmonic loading in an efficient manner. We also discuss related concepts such as natural frequencies and resonance as well as how harmonic loads affect the system. The proper interpretation of harmonic response results is critical, so we also discuss the methods required to evaluate results. Learn practical simulation engineering techniques while following along with hands-on examples that can be completed either using your valid commercial/academic Ansys license or with Ansys Student.

A course completion badge allows you to showcase your success. We partner with the Credly Acclaim platform, and digital badges can be used in email signatures, digital resumes and social media sites. The digital image contains verified metadata that describes your participation in our course and the topics and skills that were covered. This badge is for successfully completing the Harmonic Response Analysis in Ansys Mechanical course.
