The Finite-dimensional Weak Form as a Sum Over Element Subdomains — Lesson 6

In the previous lessons, the terms of the weak form were being computed, which continues in this lesson. The isoparametric formulation has been explained and this approach is followed. Non-linear discretization is shown, which is an important property of finite element methods.

This video starts with an isoparametric map which is an invertible map. The groundwork for discussion on a multi-dimension tensor map is laid. The video ends with the task of evaluation of the two integrals, which will be carried out in the next course.
