Strong Form of the Partial Differential Equation and Analytical Solutions - Lesson 4

In this lesson, the strong form of partial differential equation of linear type and in one-dimension will be discussed. The variable/ field to be found, boundary conditions, function, and the constitutive relation is written. It is shown that strong form requires spatial derivatives and hence strong conditions are required. An analytic solution for the strong form is presented and this is not a very general approach for the solution.
