This lesson covers an overview of electrothermal one-way coupling of HFSS and Icepak with the help of the EMtoIcepak ACT extension. This includes HFSS model preparation, coupling the EM results with Icepak using the ACT extension, and results verification.
In this lesson, the twisted waveguide model is used to show the steps required for coupling from HFSS to Icepak. The EMtoIcepak ACT extension wizard needs to be preinstalled inside AEDT, which helps to automate electrothermal coupling. This wizard can complete the required process, along with the required plots, with just a few clicks.
