Applying Constraints and Objectives – Lesson 3

Once the design requirements have been translated into function, constraints, objectives, and free design parameters, we can begin to select materials. Ansys Granta EduPack and Granta Selector were designed to support those using the Ashby Materials Selection methodology and property charts during design. For this course, we will use Granta EduPack.

In this lesson, we will demonstrate how to use Granta EduPack to apply both constraints and objectives to a large materials dataset using the Limit and Chart software functions.
