How to Use Edge, Face, and Body Local Sizing Control — Lesson 1

When generating a mesh for complex models, it is often necessary to refine or coarsen the mesh in specific regions of the geometry. For this purpose, the local sizing tools come in handy. Using these sizings, we can easily control how the mesh should look at the local level. In this lesson we will explore three fundamental local sizing controls: the edge sizing, the face sizing, and the body sizing. We will show how to set up each of the control types and compare the effect of each sizing to better understand their effect on the mesh size distribution and when to use them while generating a mesh.
